Elaine Barkyoumb’s native Vermont upbringing in a farm family of eight children provided her a natural background for Office Management in a real estate firm. "I take care of business and people,” she states. Coming from a very small town where neighbor helped neighbor whenever a hand was needed, she thrives on providing the brokers and sales associates with systems and tools to assist in their often hectic schedules.

Having her real estate license provides Elaine the opportunity to assist clients and customers who need questions answered when their sales associate is unreachable. It also provided the opportunity to list and sell an island in Metcalf Pond in her hometown. "I never realized the pond was so big, until I manned the oars of a rowboat across it twice within 3 hours,” she laughed. Meeting people from all over the world is a marvelous bonus to a job that is never boring.
