Francine Chittenden

Francine Chittenden has lived in the Stowe/Waterbury area since 1976. She and her family moved here to expand and grow their fledgling business, The Cold Hollow Cider Mill, which quickly evolved into the largest fresh cider making mill in New England. They encouraged guests and visitors to educate themselves in how cider is made by creating an entertaining and interactive tour of their facilities, hosting over 200,000 people a year, making The Cold Hollow Cider Mill one of the top tourist destinations in the area. "I love this region of Vermont and find myself feeling lonely whenever I need to leave 'My Mountains' for any length of time," she confesses, "Whenever I return from a long road trip and cross the state line into Vermont, I have a deep and visceral feeling of having come home."

Francine has a wide range of interests including hiking, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, swimming, and canoeing. She has also hosted numerous foreign exchange people in her home and enjoys learning about other cultures and countries.

Real Estate is a natural extension of her love of Vermont and appreciation of what this state has to offer. This, coupled with her business experience and years of listening to what her customers want, has prepared her to work with a variety of people.
