Roy Clark
It is safe to say that everyone living in the Stowe area knows, or at least recognizes, Roy Clark. After all, he has lived here for 33 years and is the managing broker at Pall Spera Company's Village office. Roy is a graduate of Johnson State College, a king of the Stowe Winter Carnival, a regular at his daughters' school events, a Rotarian and most recently the Innkeeper at the Willoughvale Inn on Lake Willoughby in Westmore, VT. He previously worked in ski shops, managed a food and beverage service for the Mount Mansfield Company and was a partner at one of Stowe's top nightspots, B.K. Clark's.
“I like to go to work in a vest and boots," Roy chuckles, “a vest with a zipper, not pin stripes.”Roy has been with Pall Spera Company since 1984; long enough to have a nice relationship with people and local businesses. He knows real estate first-hand from living in at least a dozen residences and tracking the history of hundreds more. "I like the responsibility of marketing a property. I love walking the land. I like showing houses. I like selling condos. I have a good imagination as to what can be done with a place."
An undecided buyer is never rushed or pressured: "I talked to one client for six months before ever meeting him." Roy finds going the extra mile more rewarding than a slam dunk sale.
Roy stays positive about modifications to the Stowe landscape. "If I want to live in this town I have to accept the expansion and changes”, he confidently states. "Being a Realtor is good for me," Roy says. Stowe agrees. .
