The winter of 1996 was when George, and his family began weekend commutes to Stowe Mountain Resort, aka "The Mountain". In 2001, after several years of "seasonal rentals", they bought a ski in/ ski out condo and began another project!
After a decade of weekly treks to Stowe from Manchester-by-the-Sea, the Bambaras decided it was time for a lifestyle change ... they moved to Stowe!
By the time they finished the condo remodel, George was finishing a career as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for an international machinery manufacturer. George took his interest in real estate in a new direction and became licensed to sell it!
George enjoys snow boarding, sport fishing and fly fishing. Recently introduced to skeet shooting, he hopes to soon break a score of 12. Undaunted by skeet shooting and fly fishing, George can frequently be found with his head under the hood of his '95 Range Rover. In addition to volunteer coaching Stowe's elementary school students in the "Friday Program", George is an active snowboard instructor at Stowe Ski and Snowboard School.
George has a BA in Business and Economics from Saint Anselm College with 30 years experience in sales and marketing.

A decade after moving to Vermont, Sharon has become a vital member of her community and a strong advocate for the industry she so loves. Rick chose Stowe because of the lifestyle it afforded. "I have lived in other Vermont towns, as well as resort communities in Utah, and none can match the recreational and cultural choices in the Stowe area. Add to that the income-producing opportunities, a consequence of the proximity to the Eastern metropolitan centers, and Stowe presents a rare Mecca for a balanced lifestyle," says Rick. He adds, "I try to do some recreational activity every day: skiing, golf, yoga, running and weight lifting are high on my list." Rick is particularly enthusiastic about Stowe and the surrounding area as a great place to raise children. "I feel that my two college age boys received an excellent education in the Stowe schools. Furthermore, when school is out, there are lots of things for them to do whether it be riding the trails in the summer or skiing the trails in the winter."

While working in the tourist industry, Penny graduated Johnson State College with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and an Associate's Degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Champlain College. Later, Penny made a name for herself as the youngest-ever President of the Lamoille Valley Chamber of Commerce. Penny learned to do there what she does best-sell Vermont to those who appreciate it as much as she.
Penny and husband, Brian, welcomed their first child, Sterling, into the world after 8 years of marriage. Later, while Brian traveled to China to bring daughter, Sophia home, Penny and Sterling prepared for her much-anticipated arrival. A few years later, Sister Olivia arrived-also from China, completing the family unit.
After twelve very successful years at the Chamber, Penny joined Pall Spera Company Realtors LLC, in 2007 and was named Rookie of the Year, she served as Secretary, Treasurer, and President Elect of Lamoille Area Board of Realtors and is now the Membership and Affiliates Director.
Penny and family are avid kayakers and brook swimmers in summer. In the winter, they ski and snowshoe Vermont's backwoods, with Jackie, their golden retriever. Quality of life, nature, slower pace, fewer people; Nancy Pritchard moved to Vermont with her family from New Jersey for these reasons in 1998 ... and hasn't regretted her decision.
She brought to the Stowe area formidable experience in Real Estate sales. Moving nine times in the eleven years prior to moving to Vermont, she acquired skills from frequently relocating which include sizing up people... Not for long. Spera - who is also keen on architecture and remodeling -- recognized Stowe's potential for second homes as well as relocation properties for families exchanging urban existence for the wholesome, outdoorsy Vermont lifestyle.
Spera purchased the Gale Farm homestead, circa 1832, on the Mountain Road and, in 1969, opened his first office in its farmhouse. Now the company operates from three offices, each with a distinct Vermont style.
Stowe looked different in the early 1970s. Trademark chalets and gingerbread cottages would soon be eclipsed by lodges, saltboxes, updated Vermont farmhouses, condos and, finally, luxurious retreats comparable to the finest in Europe and North America.
Vacationers need services; Spera has also been involved in commercial and residential development, always with an eye to preservation. The Vermont Land Trust and other conservation organizations count on his support.
In fact, Spera's CV lists numerous memberships in state and national associations, including past-president of the Vermont Association of Realtors and Regional Vice-President of the National Association of Realtors.
Success has not deflected what originally drew Spera to Stowe; he skis downhill and cross-country; he golfs, snowshoes,and enjoys an afternoon of fly fishing. He has shown properties by helicopter ("A real James Bond experience," he says) and sold homes to celebrities (no names; Stowe respects their privacy). Current listings include an historic Main Street commercial building; also, a successful graphic arts business with choice real estate and country acreage. Spera has hidden luxury residences on summits overlooking Stowe Village- even a 120-acre family compound with horse barn and its own golf course.
Just about everyone in Stowe knows Pall Spera. After watching his chosen home town grow for many years, he is anxious to share his expertise with you.

"I've never had a 9-to-5 job but I have had four jobs at once," Sherry says. She also experienced the thrill of selling a ski lodge where she had worked for food, lodging and $25 per week. "I backed into real estate (at another agency), as a gofer, a tour guide who knew the area, and a secretary who couldn't type. This was all good training." Sherry joined Pall Spera Company in 1993. Her longtime residency provides clients with historical perspective. When a house comes on the market Sherry knows its chronology, renovations and urban legends. Her hospitality skills provide the desire to serve clients -- patiently, if necessary: "I've had one client since the early 1980s. He still hasn't bought anything but I'm sticking to it."
Sherry appears relaxed and confident in her profession and extremely knowledgeable about her surroundings. "Here in Stowe there's still a core of people with the ski-bum mentality, who came and stayed," she says. Those just arriving will benefit from her experience.
