Beautiful hillside parcel less than ten minutes from Mount Snow but outside the direct path of heavy tourist traffic. Brickyard Road is a winding packed-gravel road dotted sparsely with homes for full-time Dover residents, each with plenty of land and privacy. From the roadside the topography dips down about 5 feet, then quickly comes to a much more gradual slope which continues for approximately the next 150 feet. After that point the topography levels off completely. The best building spot is probably closer to the road where the elevation is higher and the gentle slope lends itself to a walkout basement configuration. From here you could do some clearing to open up a potential treetop view of the valley to the east. This would also make a fine spot for RVing. Camping is allowed for 90 days without additional regulation, but you'd probably want to grade in a nice driveway and create a flat pad first. It's easy to view most of the property from Brickyard Road itself, but you can also get a great overview from the rear parking lot of the Baptist Church around the corner on Dover Hill Road, which looks up to this parcel.
Come and join the nice quiet community of Dover Manor. This lot has road frontage on two sides of the property. There is a small wetland area on the Antler Loop side of the property, about 1/4 of the property. Private roads and close to elementary school, skiing and shopping. Elevation is at about 2000'. Town sewer is available.
Wooded Acre Close to Skiing at Mount Snow Beautiful wooded parcel less than ten minutes from skiing at Mount Snow and all the attractions in downtown Dover. While the property's address is technically 4 Antler Loop, it's much easier to access off the end of Timberview Road, which is one street up the hill. After passing by a gorgeous home at 15 Timberview, the road swaps over from gravel to grassy. Where it does, this parcel has just enough frontage for a small driveway leading into the thicker part of the lot. This parcel also has 120 feet of frontage on a right of way that's cut into the trees from Antler Loop, however you'd want to build up near Timberview where the soil is more dry and the potential views are better.
Beautiful creekside property in Newfane, ideal for camping, fishing, or RVing. The western boundary line follows Hunter Brook, which turns like a horseshoe at this location and almost meets the eastern boundary: Hunter Brook Road. As a result the property naturally divides itself into two sides, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. The northeastern side is larger, more private, and walks right out into the creek bed where you can fish, camp, or just enjoy the sound of the water as it loudly babbles by. However this area is below road grade, the ground has more moisture from road runoff, and a driveway here would have to be graded in. The southwestern side is dry and flat, no grading needed over here. But it's smaller, closer to the neighbor, and rises high above the creek. There's a beautiful view, but you wouldn't be able to walk down to the water from this side, the canyon walls are just too steep. This would make a peaceful retreat for personal use, or an interesting spot for a Hipcamp investment.
